Kerry McNeil Family

Life is busy and crazy it seems day in and day out but we recognize that the Lord is aware of each one of us and is blessing us in the McNeil Family!

Kathy

Kathy stays very busy with keeping things up at home and with her busy calling as the Relief Society President. I have such a love for the sisters of our ward and realize daily how blessed I am to have this opportunity to be an instrument in the Lord’s hand to love and care for such amazing women in this part of his vineyard! I feel of their love and support and prayers and I’m so grateful for that!
My stress release lately is to sit down when I can in the evenings and watch a good ballgame and work on the afghan I started a few weeks ago. After not knitting in 35 years, the desire has been there and I saw an afghan my 1st counselor was knitting and just had to pull out the needles and get going. She couldn’t believe I’d start such a hard project after that many years but it has all come back and I’m having a ball and enjoying every minute I can work on it. Marshelle has already spoken for it.

Kerry

Kerry has been hanging in there bidding every job he can get his hands on, whether big or small! Grateful for the work he is able to get, to help us stay afloat! He is such a hard worker and we love and appreciate all that he does to provide for us. He is currently serving in the Sunday School Presidency and feels he has a pretty cushy job which he does! Kerry’s stress reliever is to get on his Harley and go for a ride. His stress relief adds to Kathy’s increase of stress as she worries while he is gone! He takes that opportunity any chance he gets!

Austin

Austin is loving being able to study at BYU. He’s taking some tough classes this semester that will determine if he gets accepted into the School of Accounting. He recently received a letter of congratulations on his early academic achievement at Brigham Young University! He has been invited to join the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and to join the 2010 Freshman Academic Honor Roll. He’s studying hard but finds time to socialize some on the weekends. He continues to love his job at KBYU Broadcasting, translating for them. He called this week to ask me how to make Chicken Crescent rolls because he had a date on the weekend and was making dinner for the date. He’s even made Banana Cream Pies for a Sunday Dessert night a while back. He even impressed himself that he remembered how to make the pie crusts! Grateful he’s not afraid to try his hand at cooking. He’s loving life and having a good time!

Marshelle

Marshelle stays busy with school and work. She is completing some classes of Pharmacology and an IV course to then be able to submit her application to nursing school. She continues to enjoy working for an in home care company and takes care of two patients - one boy with cerebral palsy and a girl who was a near drowning victim when she was 3. She’s Marshelle’s age. I’m so grateful for the sweet love Marshelle has for patient’s like this and that she is able to be a blessing in their lives as she cares for them.
Marshelle was able to go to Hawaii a week ago and had a wonderful time. It was a short trip but gave her enough of a taste of it that’s she’s ready to go again! She says, “I was so excited to go to O’ahu with a good friend of mine named Hannah. Her brother got us a hotel room in the Hilton in Waikiki and drove us around the island while we were there. Her brother is good friends with a football player from the Cardinals team name Deuce Lutui, who was there for a football camp that weekend. We were able to charge all the food we ate in the hotel to his room and the football camp paid for it! Needless to say it was sweet and it was a pretty cheap and awesome trip for me! Some of the places I was able to go for the short time we were there was the temple, BYU, North Shore, the Dole Plantation, Waikiki Beach and many other beaches because of the short time, I wasn’t able to go to all the places I wanted (such as- Peal Harbor & the Polynesian Cultural Center) but I figure now I have an excuse to go back one day!!!!!

Bella

Kerry had to get this outfit for Bella when she was smaller. Doesn't fit her anymore! LOL!

Danielle

Danielle stays busy with lots of homework after school and tennis practice. I think she looks forward to weekends so she can sleep in because it gets old having to be out the door every morning at 7:30 a.m. She loves to have lots of fun with her friends. I think her best friend though is Marshelle! They get along so well and have fun together for which we are really grateful! She just recently got her driver’s license but doesn’t have access to a car to be able to drive much. She’s a good little driver though. Grateful she took driver’s education at Mt. View because that really helped. One of her friends got Hannah Montana tickets so Danielle was invited to go to the concert with her friend Carlee and had a great time. She bought shirts for herself, Marshelle and Austin. She went on her first date to Winter formal where the girls ask the guys. She had a good time. It’s hard to believe she’s growing up so fast!

Thought of the week from Steve Reynolds

One vibratory body responds to the vibrations of another to which it has a harmonic likeness. If middle C is struck, strings of C higher and lower will vibrate in response. Notes E and G will respond as well, although with less intensity because they are harmonically related to C. Any other surfaces in the room will also respond if they are tuned to C or related to that pitch.
Are we in harmony? Are we in tune with - the voice of the Lord? If we are, we will all be of one response. All that are related will respond to the same voice.

Support Lynette

Several people have expressed interest in going to Women's Conference. If you would like to come, please let me know. I'm going to be making hotel reservations so we can all be together. The hotels fill up fast, so if you are interested please let me know because we can cancel the rooms easier than getting more later. I'll do the hotel, but you need to register yourself for the conference at http://ce.byu.edu/cw/womensconference/ You can call or email me 435-387-5152 cambyandkendra@yahoo.com
This will be a great get away and we are excited to hear and support Aunt Lynette! Please let me know ASAP! The hotels are filling up so fast!
She will be speaking at 11:00 a.m. at the DeJong Hall on BYU campus on Friday.

Camby

Weston is always making us laugh. He loves being a big brother and mom's big helper! He is constantly conning his dad into going for horse rides. (His current excuse, I haven't exercised Taffy in years, dad we have to go). He loves making up new songs and singing, "I am a builder, working each day, to build my family," at the top of his lungs to get Tucker to stop crying.

Tucker is growing like a weed! I swear I just gave birth to him, okay maybe seven months ago, (where did the time go?). He is an angel and very happy. We love making him laugh because he has a little bit of a snort laugh, which is so adorable.

Kendra is keeping busy with the boys and exercising with her friend MaKayla. She's lost a total of 16 lbs. WoooHoo! She has been making flower clips to go in hats and in hair and Weston always asks if he can put one on his hat (this drives Camby crazy)!

Camby has been doing more firefighting training and loves it. He loves going on horse rides with his son or anyone that will go with him. Camby is our handyman around the house and is working hard to finish our basement.

Justin

Justin finished up his certification, and is now a full fledged banker! He goes horseback riding whenever he gets a chance and loves spending time with Nicky and Rhetter bug. Nicky takes great care of her home and family, plays church volleyball, and is wearing out her P90 DVD. She's a relief worker at one of the local hospitals and is called on just enough to keep her skills sharpened up. Rhett is pulling himself up on everything. He crawls thru the house following his mom; to be sure she doesn't get out of his sight. It won't be long before he starts testing his legs and is running after his mom and dad.

Dana

It is a brand new year!!!

Work has been busy. Finally!!! The holidays were a little slower then I would l have liked. The people of Rock Springs just didn't have the money this year to spend on toys as they have in the past. The rest of Rock Springs has stayed the same.
In my spare time (which isn't much) I do love to read a good book. I enjoy cooking, and baking, trying a new recipe that someone tells me about.
I have lots of projects, some get finished, others pushed back in the closet and a new one takes its place. I love to go home, take my mom to the fabric store and figure out a new quilt to sew. We go home, get dad to cut it out, and get to work. I love taking a stack of fabric and creating a finished, beautiful quilt top!
Wish my niece and nephews were alittle closer, I love to give snuggles and kisses. Throw the ball and hang out with them.
Hey, I love to dress up, and look nice! So, come on..... hook me up with a reason to get all dressed up!
I am currently considering a relocation, so if any of you hear of some good opportunites let me know!

Devin

wade is: 2! Sunday we celebrated his second birthday and we had fun! He is into backyardagains and having books read to him! His favorite book it the very busy spider! Brandon is: In kindergarten and loves it! Yesterday he got to take his dad in as his special guest. He loves anything to do with transformers or starwars - he keeps us jumping! Jordan is: our big first grader - and is in the top of her class, here and on Manila , at reading. Everynight we have to remind her to TURN THE LIGHT OFF AND GO TO SLEEP! She just loves to read! She is also a sweetheart! Aaron is: Taking one day at a time trying to keep all fires at work at bay... looking forward to going back home with no lawsuits on his lap for the forest service. Devin is: running the car pool and the keeps the house clean, and still has time to read a few books - this house is really small!

Steve

Steve is adjusting very well, and is starting to feel like he has his new calling as High Priest Group Leader under control. At first it was a stiff challenge. He now has all hometeaching re-organized and a fixed plan for months in advance.
It is very exciting!
As clock building has been very exciting but also very slow, Steve has changed focus from building clocks themselves for sale, to preparing plans for two new wall clocks. He feels that offering plans to the millions of woodworkers will yield better return than trying to sell clocks. The preparation of these plans has had its problems, but he is getting much closer to his goal. Designing new clocks was not as easy as he anticipated. Wish us luck in this endeavor!

Karen

Steve and Karen are still very excited about their temple callings, they still
serve two shifts a month and enjoy it very much. Their shift has lost various people to ailments and or missions therefore Steve leads sessions on almost all his shifts.
Karen has many workers on her side, and spends much time in all areas of the
temple. They love it very much, and look forward to our bi-weekly visits.

Karen's work because of the econmony is still struggling very bad. We feel
like we are extremely blessed therefore we will not complain, tho like many of
you times are very tough. As the economy improves, we hope again to return to
a more productive future.

We are very blessed that all of our children our currently employed, and doing
well. Among our blessings are our 6 little grandchildren. We love being
grandparents! We love calling the grandkids and listening to all of their stories. We are constantly giggling as our children adjust to being parents.

Wyoming continues to be Wyoming, we keep hoping that June follows January, but
we suspect that June is still a ways off! It has not been too bad, we just
miss warmer days.
