We were both attending BYU, and I spotted him at church the very first Sunday. We were both in the same ward. The following Monday we went to our branch president's home for family home evening, and I again spotted him and watched him most of the evening.
The next Sunday when we got to church I pointed him out to my room mates and told them I was going to go on a date with him. They all giggled and said "ya, whatever"About two weeks later, we were divided in family home evening groups, and we were meeting at our apartment for the first one. There was a knock at the door, and I went to the door to answer it. Oh my goodness, guess who was standing in my doorway, the young man I had been watching for 3 weeks! I was so shocked, I shut the door in his face, and went into the bedroom to tell myroommates "you are not going to believe who is at our front, oh my gosh, I shut the door in his face"
Kathy jumped up, and went to the door. Steve was walking down the balcony to leave. She called him back. We had family home evening, and after the lesson we visited forquite a while. He called the next week looking for help to sell Rodeo tickets, he saidhe needed help Thurs. Friday and Saturday. Could we help him out (he says he was calling to ask all his family home evening sisters) I didn't ask the rest of them. I told him I could help him all three days! And thus....... begin a relationship.
Woohoo, Karen, way to go!!! Now what is Steve's side of the story?
